The Firm Operations Manager (also known as Firm Administrator, COO, or Firm Manager) is a linchpin position in any CPA firm. This person needs to be able to earn the respect and trust of the ownership group. They interface with all staff members and sometimes clients, and help the practice work as an efficient, well-oiled machine.


So what kind of a person can wear all of these hats and do it seamlessly?
